What we collect

• The text of your dumps (your "data"). If you speak instead of type, your voice is transcribed to text on your device — we never receive or store the audio.
• A device-generated random ID used to look up your data. We never ask for your name, email, or other identifiers.
• Basic technical logs (request times, errors). No third-party advertising or analytics SDK touches your data.

How we process it

• Your dumps are sent as text to OpenRouter, which routes to Anthropic's Claude for structuring and insights, over TLS-encrypted connections. Voice is transcribed to text on your device before anything is sent — audio never leaves your phone.
• OpenRouter's and Anthropic's terms of service apply to data routed through them; we use zero-retention API mode where available so the providers do not retain or train on your content.
• Your data is stored in our database, accessible only to you via your device token.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share your data with advertisers.
• We never link your data to your real identity (we don't even ask for your name).
• We do not use your data to train any AI model.

Your rights

• Export — Download your full data anytime from Settings → Export my data.
• Delete — Erase your account and all data anytime from Settings → Delete account. This is immediate and irreversible.
• Access — Your device token is shown in Settings; you can request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@mindaside.com.

Children

mindaside is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be flagged inside the app. The last-updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
